Darla Hulse, RN

My nursing career began in 1987 after graduating from South West Michigan College. I have worked in many fields of nursing including Emergency Room, Operating Room, O.B. Labor and Delivery and Nursery, Home Nursing, ICU, Med Surg and in a medical office. I began my interest in cosmetic nursing in 2006 and found what I want to do until I retire. I love it! I love helping people feel better about themselves. It helps physically and emotionally. To see their smiles when they finish treatments is very gratifying.
I am a certified Nurse Injector and am also certified in laser. Injecting is my passion, especially the lips. I feel like my artistic eye is essential as an injector especially when it comes to contouring your face or body. I am one of the only providers in the area that uses canulas for injecting, to reduce pain and bruising. I love helping to restore your confidence.
I will treat you as I would want to be treated. No cookie cutter procedures done here! No duck lips, surprised expression or out of control cheeks! When you leave here I want you to look like you (only more rested and relaxed) not like some caricature or plastic version of you. I am honored to be trusted to take care of your concerns and help you feel better about yourself. There are 3 things I’m absolutely 100% passionate about. My family, running the Vicksburg Cheer Program, and providing exceptional service and experiences to our clients .
I have a really large extended family. We are very close and spend lots of time together. My amazing immediate family consists of my husband and three daughters. We enjoy taking adventures and making memories.
Once upon a time, I was a Vicksburg Cheerleader. I learned many life lessons from it and love being able to be a positive role model and mentor to my athletes. I started coaching in 2004 and I love continuing to learn from my athletes and grow as a coach each season.
I started in the skin care industry in 2016. I was working in a medical practice and had come to the conclusion that I needed to find something else. A colleague showed me a job posting for a skin care/laser technician opening and I jumped at the opportunity. Three weeks later I was immersed in all things skin care and working with Darla. I truly love my job and all of the wonderful people we have the pleasure to treat everyday. We want everyone to not only be satisfied with their results, we want them to be THRILLED.

I have a passion for health and for helping others become the best version of themselves.
I’m currently enrolled in the nursing program at KVCC. Education is important to me. I always enjoy learning about the latest and greatest techniques and services that I can provide for my clients.
I coach both sideline and competitive cheerleading for Vicksburg Community Schools. I love having the opportunity to play an active role in the community I grew up in. Coaching provides me with a positive creative outlet and helps me grow as a leader, as a problem-solver, and as a human being.
When I am not at work, I enjoy working out, spending time with my friends and family, and hanging out with my dog (sometimes you can find Benson running around the office!)

I am a wife, and a mom (of both a human and two dogs). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors as much as possible, and attending as many sporting events as I can.
My background is in cosmetology in which I’ve been licensed for nearly 10 years. What I love about my career in cosmetology and working at Inspirations Med Spa is that I get to take part in someone bettering themselves in one way or another. Clients come in to see our providers here and leave feeling confident and positive about themselves. I love working in the service industry, and my goal is to make everyone that walks through the front door feel like we are here just for them
